15 Nominees Vie for 2008 Fleet Manager of the Year
The field will narrow to three finalists next month with the winner announced May 4th during a special awards ceremony and brunch at NAFA’s 2008 Institute & Expo in Salt Lake City.

Tire & PM Costs Increase Car Maintenance Expenses in 2007
Increased cost of replacement tires and PM caused car maintenance expenses in 2007 to increase slightly higher than the prior year. Tire costs were up 4-7 percent, while PM expenses increased 10 percent. Other costs remained flat or declined.

Economic Slowdown Causes Fleet Resale Value to Decline
Most fleet vehicles are purchased by subprime buyers; however these buyers are now finding it increasingly difficult to qualify for used-vehicle loans. The showdown in the construction market is dampening demand for used pickups.
