Automotive Fleet: Fleet 500 Issue 2008:

The purpose of this magazine is to highlight the nation’s Top 300 commercial fleets, the Top 50 Green Fleets, The Top 100 Commercial Truck Fleets and the Top 50 Executive Fleets.

Census of U.S. Commercial Fleet & Non-Fleet Market
The 6.8 million commercial vehicles in operation are divided nearly evenly between fleets and non-fleets, the latter defined as companies that operate 5-14 vehicles.

Top 300 Commercial Fleets
Automotive Fleet annually surveys U.S. commercial fleets. The 300 largest fleets are broken down by size, including the number of cars, trucks, SUV’s, and percentage of owned versus leased vehicles.
