Chevrolet Silverado heavy-duty models include the 2500HD (3/4-ton) and 3500HD (1-ton) and are available in three cab configurations, three cargo box styles, and five wheelbase lengths. Engine options include 6.0L gas and 6.6L Duramax diesel. Standard 6-speed automatic transmissions for both gas and diesel engines maximize overall truck performance and fuel efficiency.
Beginning in the 2007 model-year, Dodge offered its Ram trucks at medium-duty level. They feature diesel engines along with contemporary styling and cab comfort.
Equipped with the Class 4-5 segment's largest standard fuel tank (52 gallons), Dodge Ram 4500/5500 is offered in 4x2, 4x4, dual-rear-wheel, Regular, and Quad Cab configurations. The 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel generates 305 hp and 610 ft.-lb. of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission — both with Power Take-Off (PTO) capability.
The Dodge Sprinter re-engineered the concept of the commercial full-size van. It is offered as a cab-chassis as well. Power comes from a 3.0L V-6 diesel engine.
All four Super Duty trim levels — XL, XLT, Cabela's, and Lariat — come with a host of standard features for 2010, from air conditioning, SecuriLock, and power-heated trailer tow mirrors to privacy glass, an integrated trailer brake controller, and remote keyless entry. SYNC is available. Engine choices include V-8 and V-10 gasoline engines and the Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V-8.
GVWR options available from 26,000 lbs. to Class 8-capable 37,000 lbs. Super Duty is powered by the 6.7L Cummins ISB diesel, with a range of power ratings from 200 hp to 325 hp and 520 to 750 ft.-lbs. of torque, matched to a variety of manual, automated, and automatic transmissions. Three cab configurations are available, including the only four-door Extended Cab in the medium-duty class.
Available as a truck or tractor, the Business Class M2 comes standard with the MBE900 engine and features a chassis that supports a wide range of bodies and equipment.
Sierra 2500HD (3/4-ton) and 3500HD (1-ton) models are designed for hauling. Sierra's maximum towing capacity is 16,500 lbs., when equipped with the 6.6L 365hp with 660 ft.-lb. torque Duramax diesel engine and 6-speed Allison 1000 automatic transmission.
New optional cab configurations include 30-inch extended cab, right-hand drive dual-steer sit down, and right-hand drive dual-steer stand-up. Hino 268 and 338 models offer excellent city maneuverability with a 55-degree wheel cut that reduces the trucks' turning radius by up to 2 feet over similar trucks.
DuraStar, in combination with the new 300HP MaxxForce 7 diesel engine, offers significant fuel economy improvement over the previous V8 engine model. Four horsepower and torque options range from 220-300 hp and up to 660 ft.-lb. of torque.
A new cab design for greater driver comfort and efficiency is part of the latest version of Isuzu's N-Series trucks. Isuzu's exclusive IDSS (Isuzu Diagnostic Service System) allows diesel-model owners to receive a detailed "Health Report" from dealers on key performance data. A Crew Cab model is also offered. Standard power is a 5.2L diesel engine with a B-10 life of 310,000 miles.
The new Kenworth Medium Duty T270 and T370 Hybrids, driven by the PACCAR PX-6 engine, are designed to improve fuel economy by 30 percent in pickup and delivery operations and up to 50 percent in utility operations. The Kenworth Hybrid uses braking events called regenerative braking to generate and store electricity, leveraged to assist engine acceleration. Both the T270 and T370 Hybrid offer an optional electric Power Take-Off (ePTO).
Completely re-engineered from the wheels up, the FE Model offers more head, leg, and knee and elbow room. Its dash-mounted shifter and available Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission are both industry firsts. Cab features include multiple cup holders, fold-down workstation, and added storage areas for cell phones, coins, maps, etc. Dual-caliper disc brakes with ABS are standard. FE is available in three GVWRs — FE125 (12,500 lb.), FE145 (14,500 lb.), and FE180 (17,995 lb.).
Mitsubishi Fuso's FK models are available in two configurations – the FK200 (19,850 lb. GVWR/three wheelbases) and FK 260 (25,995 lb. GVWR/five wheelbases). Both FK200 and 260 are powered by a high-torque Fuso 6M60 7.5 L. (460 cu. in.) inline SOHC 243-hp, six-cylinder turbocharged diesel, mated to a standard Allison electronic 5-speed OD automatic transmission. The FK260 also offers an optional 6-speed manual.
Mitsubishi Fuso's FM 330 Model (32,900-lb. GVWR/four wheelbases) offers plenty of headroom, adjustable seating, and a “comfort wave” dashboard with easy-to-see and reach instruments and controls. Under the cab is a Fuso 6M60 7.5 L. (460 cu. in.) inline SOHC 243 hp, 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel developing 514 ft.-lb. of torque, paired with a standard Allison electronic 5-speed OD automatic transmission or optional 6-speed manual. FM series can accommodate bodies up to 28-feet.

UD TRUCKS are a superior line of vocational cab and chassis powered by MD diesel engines rated from 170 to 230 hp, with GVWR options ranging from 14,000-32,900 lbs. All UD TRUCKS chassis can accommodate a wide variety of vocational body demands from 12-feet up to 30-feet. Durability, safety, and comfort are the heart of the design of the UD cab. Most importantly, each UD truck features a sturdy cab-over-engine specifically engineered to withstand tough demands of any environment. Automatic or manual transmissions are available.
The W62 is powered by International's MaxxForce5 V-6 diesel engine, with 200 hp and 440 ft.-lb. torque, four valves per cylinder, an advanced fuel injection system, two-stage turbocharger, and enhanced electronics to maximize engine reliability, fuel economy and emissions control. The W62 includes free roadside service for three years or 36,000 miles and is the only vehicle in its class to offer a gas engine.
